Marunouchi Store
Hirotaka launches his second boutique this October 2019 in Marunouchi, a historical area turned business center with a rising fashion scene. Drawn to this location in Marunouchi Brick Square, the complex explores similar elements as Hirotaka’s vision; balancing the natural world in the industrial environment we live in. Trees flow throughout the center and though Hirotaka's storefront is anchored in black steel, it is set amongst a charming courtyard filled with greenery and ivy with art installations.
The interior further demonstrates this concept along with Hirotaka’s “The Spirit of the Rainforest” inspiration, a theme reflected throughout the store design and jewelry collections. To bring this world of Hirotaka to life, the creative team referenced the extraordinary diversity of the rainforest, transforming shapes into abstract form and combining it with Hirotaka’s signature minimal approach.
Upon entering you are welcomed by an ancient tree fossil on an oversized glass case filled with various flora, bird feathers, and geometric steel platforms from which the jewelry hangs. The space is lofty but intimate, as if you were invited to Hirotaka's atelier to see his creative process and truly understand where the pieces come from. Colors of metallic and Kurokawa black metal are mixed with natural stone. Hirotaka’s earrings, ear cuffs, rings and necklaces are presented in custom displays made to feel as if you snuck into the museum at night into the Scientific & Cultural Heritage exhibition.
Hirotaka Marunouchi will debut exclusive items and limited edition collections as well as carry Hirotaka’s most beloved core styles.
